Jon Cheney

Jon Cheney is a builder-operator turned AI educator who sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and human capability. As a leader within GenAIPI, Jon works directly with executives, founders, and teams to design AI strategies that actually ship—moving beyond pilots and hype toward durable business advantage.

Rather than chasing tools, Jon’s approach centers onAI literacy, governance, andoperational integration, helping organizations answer thehard questions:Where does AImatter? Where doesn’t it? And how do we enable people to lead with it responsibly?

Known for his calm, practical style and real-world analogies drawn from entrepreneurship and high-consequence environments, Jon frames AI adoption as a leadership challenge, not a technology one. His work focuses on turning AI into a compounding capability inside organizations, not an outsourced dependency.

Most importantly, Jon won’t get on a stage without leaving the audience with hands-on, practical advice on what to do next with AI. He often invites audience members to download something then and there and to start building immediately. He invites people to act rather than be acted upon.
